Warranty, shipping, returns
Warranty: All vehicles include a 2-year warranty, starting on delivery date. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or use by persons weighing more than 350 lbs.
This limited warranty is the only warranty for your TravelScoot. There are no
other expressed or implied warranties. The only uses for this product are described in this manual.
The limited warranty extends only to the original owner and is not transferable
to anyone else.
This limited warranty covers all parts of the TravelScoot electric scooter and is
effective only if:
The TravelScoot electric scooter is designed for general transportation and
recreation use only. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and
tear, normal maintenance items, nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper
assembly, maintenance, adjustment, storage or use of the TravelScoot
electric scooter. This limited warranty is void if the product is ever:
The manufacturer of the TravelScoot electric scooter is not liable for incidental
or consequential loss nor damage, due directly or indirectly, from the use of
this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, so this may not apply to you.
The TravelScoot electric scooter is warranted for two years from the date of
The manufacturer will replace without charge to you any component found to
be defective within the warranty period.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights.
TravelScoot USA, Inc. will pay for warranty-related shipping within the first 60 days after delivery of the original purchase, provided the return shipment is packed in the original packaging. We strongly recommend that you retain the original shipping box for the TravelScoot at least for the duration of the warranty period.
Returns: All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery and only in "as new" condition in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs* including incidental shipping damage caused by improper packing. There is a 10% restocking fee.
*Returns on scooters shipped for free will be assessed a $200.00 charge for two-way (out-bound and return) shipping.
This return policy takes effect once an order has been processed and shipped. (Creation of a shipping label or pick-up order constitutes shipping).
Separately or additionally purchased batteries cannot be returned for refund.
TravelScoot USA, inc. ships within the USA only. Due to shipping restrictions, we can ship the TravelScoot Deluxe or any of our lithium-ion batteries by UPS Ground within the contiguous US only.
We ship the TravelScoot mobility scooter and all lithium-ion batteries by UPS Ground, signature required. We ask that you allow approximately two weeks from order to delivery. We will make every effort to expedite your order and ship asap. However, we do not guarantee same-day shipment or any specific delivery date. We can advise the customer of an approximate delivery date, and will provide tracking information on orders shipped by UPS or USPS priority mail. Small items may be sent by regular (first-class) mail. No tracking is available for this service. In some cases we can offer custom shipping solutions. Shipping damage is not covered under our warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to note and report shipping damage prior to signing any release.
